Valentine's Day = Love!

Valentine's Day isn't just for one special person, it's a day to celebrate everyone you love and care for. I have some awesome school co-workers who always put others first.  These little gifts I made for them was may way to show how sweet they are!  Pre-made milk cartons were on clearance from Michael's and the little mailboxes with working flags, came from www.svgcuts.com .  I shrunk them down to fit mini Ring Pops for my co-workers daughter and sons.  The little girl stamp is from Stampin Up and I used water color crayons. The hearts in her hand were stamped on various Valentine pattern paper then cut out & glued on top of the original hearts.

Little Red Wagon - Valentine's Day Treat

Ah... tis' spring break in my area.  I should be stamping but I have so many ideas to try I just don't know where to start. :)  First things first, I have some cards I made and haven't had time to share them with you.  So here we go....

These little wagons were perfect for my Valentine's Day treat for the gals I work with.  Each one holds a mini Kit Kat.  I bought the svg file for these from:
http://www.cleardollarstamps.com/proddetail.php?prod=CDSSMLittleRedWagonSVG-PDF
I sized mine down just a bit and used the rectangle from the handle piece to make mini license plates on the back.  Printed off each persons name cut and glued it to the plates for that personalized touch.  Also, I wrapped the Kit Kats with Valentine style paper, along with a cut out heart from my Cricut and stamped greeting - wishing you the sweetest day ever! (Stamp from Stampin Up).  The wheels have heart brads, and I made little tags to hang from the handle that say Happy Valentine's Day!

Owl Bookmark

In one of our recent classes we made these fun owl bookmarks out of colored paper clips.
The kids had so much fun.  These would make a great gift for any book lover or even party favors.  Supplies used - Stampin Up Owl punch, a variety of scrap paper, google eyes, foam tape, and colorful paper clips.

Valentine Candle Stamping

I love using stamps on a variety of things.  One of my favorite is stamping on candles.  It looks so neat and is sooo easy. :)

1. Stamp on white tissue paper.
2. Color and trim around your image.
3. Place trimmed image on candle.
4. Place wax paper over image and press onto the candle.
5. Use heating tool on wax paper to melt the tissue paper image underneath to candle.
6. Step back oooh and ahhh over your creation :)

Strawberry Treat Holders

Strawberries & Basket - so cute they look good enough to eat!  Well actually the strawberry is a candy holder!  I made these from using a strawberry & basket svg cut file, the Sure Cuts A Lot program, and my Cricut. Scallop oval punches are Stampin Up.  Friends stamp was a cheap find at Michael's.
Filled with conversation hearts for a Valentine treat. :)

Bee Mine....

I have a class once of week for elementary students.  My goal is to teach them to be creative and have fun making gifts to share with family and friends.  Here is our latest project.  Lollipop holder with a Stampin Up Scallop Square.

Valentine's Day Treat

For Christmas I purchased the Sure Cuts A Lot program for my Cricut.  The Craftedge blog has some wonderful svg files. One of them being this cute Valentine's Day Mailbox.  You can make them any size you like.  I sized them down to 6 inches because it fit my SweetTart candy perfectly.

Valentine's Day Card Idea Continued

Using the Cricut we cut out patterned envelopes and tags to match along with candy attached.  Also on the front we cut out a dainty borders and stamped Happy Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day!

Remeber those days when you recieved the list of your fellow classmates names and couldn't wait to go home and make special cards for them?  Well it's that time of year again and it's my turn to help my daughters carry on the fun tradition. :)  Below we created Valentine butterflies we found from a wonderful website.  Used the Cricut to cut out little flowers and hearts, also we used Valentine pencils instead of suckers for their bodies.  I love how they sparkle!
