I found some photos left over from December.  I work at a school and were always looking for projects to turn into gifts for parents.  I remember when I was little this project and I had some left over tile and wala instant coffee holder/ hotplate!  All you need is - 1 kitchen tile, finger paint, glitter paint pen, and sticky foam for the back of the tile (sold at most Michael's stores)  This was quick and easy and the kids had fun making them.

Oldies but goodies!

Two different versions of a using a Stamping Up bee rolling wheel stamp with old Close To My Heart bee keeper image.  I love to merge stamped images to come up with new cards.  Chalk was used on both of these cards to give a more softer feel to them.

Cupcake Birthday

Using the same design idea as I did for my Valentine cards.  I found these cute little fabric cupcake stickers at Michael's and beautiful pearl beads that already have the adhesive on the back.  I also used Stampin Up rub-on for the make a wish sentiment and my cuttlebug embossing machine for a textured background.

Valentine's Day Card Idea Continued

Using the Cricut we cut out patterned envelopes and tags to match along with candy attached.  Also on the front we cut out a dainty borders and stamped Happy Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day!

Remeber those days when you recieved the list of your fellow classmates names and couldn't wait to go home and make special cards for them?  Well it's that time of year again and it's my turn to help my daughters carry on the fun tradition. :)  Below we created Valentine butterflies we found from a wonderful website.  Used the Cricut to cut out little flowers and hearts, also we used Valentine pencils instead of suckers for their bodies.  I love how they sparkle!

Christmas cards I made this year - Christmas tree made out of the Stampin Up scallop punch. (as seen on Dawn's Stamping Thoughts, she has a wonderful site and walkthrough videos are great!) Also a penguin card I made with stickers and my new cute Sizzix texture Boutique machine. (So cute in the shape of a purse!!! :)

Click on pics for a closer look, its hard to see but I used the Sizzix to get the snowflake texture and swirls.  The penguin is a 3-D sticker.

And last but not least a few cards I made last year with my Cricut.

Little treats filled with Holiday Cheer

I love to spread cheer this time of year. There is one easy way to get a big smile out of someone - Chocolate! Who doesn't love it? Even if you don't, the pretty shiny wrappers they come in are enough to warm any heart. I feel this time of year were always pressed for time so I made these little gift bags for the gals I work with. They were quick, easy and fun! I used a package of Martha Stewart treat bags, painted metal embellishments on the ribbon, and stamped Happy Holidays along with 3-D holiday stickers on the inside back of bags. Add a little chocolate and you’re done!

Happy Thanksgiving!

My version of Tom the Thanksgiving Turkey -
(click on the picture to zoom in on the image)

He is made entirely of punches!  I used black brads for his eyes and scallop, circle, flower punches to create his body.  Here's the link for instructions I borrowed. :)  http://stampinginspiration.blogspot.com/2009/11/technique-thursday-thankful-tom-turkey.html

Witch Shoe is the right fit?

The same template I used for the princess shoe is now a Witches Shoe.
From Michael's I used Fabric Fancies Flowers, and Halloween printed brads for the spider webs.  I also used Stampin Up tag punches.  (A little secret shhh) paint samples squares from the hardware store are perfect for that unique look.  Use Stazon to make sure the image doesn't smear. :)
