Winter Fun

I realize winter is over but alas I have another cute picture I didn't want to loose. :) I made these for the gals at my work at Christmas time. The cute little buckets I got - you guessed it on clearance at Target. They were in the wedding section, I added foam circles and carrot nose, along with rub on snowflakes for cheeks from Michael's. The Snowman Soup poem was borrowed from a creative person on the web, and so was the cup template. These were also a big hit at our school to help raise funds at our annual Santa Workshop. I used gold and blue ink with a swirl acrylic stamp from Michael's.

Here are 2 card samples I made using my early Christmas Present the wow, mouth dropping, eyes popping out of my head CRICUT MACHINE. Not just any Cricut machine the new fancy bells and whistles Expression machine. I was totally caught of guard and wanted this bad! My wish list to Santa must have went express North Pole mail as I never in my dreams thought I would get this as a gift! I am one happy and blessed gal.

Boooooo......

I wanted to share my Halloween Cards I made before I lost the files. These were super easy! I used Halloween background paper 3-D stickers from Michael's (cat & spiders) embellished with Halloween brads also from Michael's. I also wanted to mention that most if not ALL my paper comes from my wonderful husband who works for a print shop. He brings me odds and ends and he also donate some to the local school. I LOVE the variety and unique pieces I get. Some even have fabric or leaves folded into them. Ok so back to the cards :) black card stock from hubby, Stampin Up Bitty Boos Set and Witch Shoes (which have orange ribbon buckles) and Halloween stamp from Michael's $1 bargain bin.

This year's appreciation lunch theme is summer pool party complete with creamsicle thank you cards. This is not an original by me, I borrowed the idea from some great stampers from splitcoaststampers. And a very kind friend whom I've met through freecycle borrowed me her Tart and Tangy set from Stampin Up thank you Susan! :)

Spring Time = Ladybugs

I love volunteering at my kids school, I have for 8 years and hope to for many more to come. One of my favorite times of year is when we show our appreciation for the teachers and staff. We have an annual luncheon for them. I love to theme it and make something personal to each to show how much we care for all they do during the year every year. Last year our theme was an old fashion picnic. I chose to make 100 important special people ladybugs. When the wings are opened they say thank you.

Time flies when your having fun!

Today I thought I would start posting pictures of my cards. My Stampin Up demo gave us a challenge piece
(Stampin Up Top Note die cut -out).
And this is what I came up with.
Green card stock, lime green speckled background paper from Michael's, Garden Whimsy stamp set for the butterfly (the 3-D wings were stamped on handmade leaf paper from Target) and Priceless stamp set. Ink - Mellow Moss and Really Rust.
